Summer of Food Contest - 9 April - 8 July 2014

We are celebrating launch of FoodieMagic.com and arrival of king of fruits with our first contest!

Post your recipes and/or restaurant review in one or more of the following forums -

• Vegetarian Recipes
• Non-vegetarian Recipes
• Non-Alcoholic Drinks
• Alcoholic Drinks
• Restaurant Reviews
• शाकाहारी पाककृती
• मांसाहारी पाककृती
• मद्यविरहित पेय
• मद्ययुक्त पेय
• रेस्टॉरंट कसे वाटले?

The winners will be announced here and all the winners will be conferred upon a special rank Distinguished Chef that we have specially created only for such contest winners. The rank will be displayed with winner's name and the rank stays forever with your name!

As a bumper prize, a single contest winner (winner with highest number of replies or views) will get a copy of 'Indian Food Wisdom And The Art Of Eating Right By Rujuta Diwekar' sent to him/her.

Please note that this bumper prize can be awarded to a member from India only!

So contribute with your best recipes and restaurant reviews. Post as many entries as you want, and do add your comments of appreciation for the participants!

The rules of the competition are simple -

1. You can post either recipes and/or restaurant reviews in one or more forums mentioned above. The posts in other forums will not be considered.
2. You can post as many recipes and restaurant reviews as you want.
3. The winner in each of the above mentioned forums will be declared, and thus there will be 10 winners at the end of the contest.
4. The winners will be chosen based on 2 conditions for a single post -
   
   1. Number of replies - own replies not considered though.
   2. No of views - only if two posts have same number of replies, number of views will be considered as the second condition for winners.
5. The bumper prize will be given to the member with highest number of replies (or views if the reply counts are same for two or more winning entries) among all forums, however this would be awarded to Indian member only.
6. The winners will be announced within one week after the contest is over. That is within one week after 8th July.
7. The recipes posted by moderators will not be considered for the contest.

And the bumper prize winner is -

He has received the highest number of replies among all Indian winners: 5-2=3 replies (since 2 of them are his own replies)!

Among international winners, it is Sanika for: जिर्‍या-मिर्‍याचा खाकरा with 4 replies. The replies are actually more than what Parag Divekar received. But as per contest rules,the bumper prize could only be awarded to an Indian member (Please understand - it is primarily logistics issue). However, she will also get a copy of this DVD whenever she is in India next time!
